Accountant / Tax Assistant (m/f/d) - Funds & Real Estate | Munich

We are looking for an experienced Accountant or Tax Assistant (m/f/d) for our client at the Munich location, to start as soon as possible. A responsible position with varied tasks related to accounting and finance for various companies in the fund and real estate sector awaits you.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the ongoing financial accounting of several companies, ensuring reliable and timely processing of all business transactions.
• Your area of responsibility includes companies in different legal forms, especially GmbHs and GmbH & Co. KGs, as well as more complex shareholding structures.
• You will independently prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, taking into account the relevant commercial law regulations.
• Depending on the company, you will also apply the relevant requirements of the KAGB (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch - German Capital Investment Code).
• You will prepare meaningful reports and analyses for internal and external recipients.
• To support corporate management, you will prepare earnings forecasts, budget analyses, and variance analyses.
• You will coordinate closely with auditors, external business partners, and internal departments on accounting and bookkeeping issues.
• You will assist in the technical clarification of complex issues and contribute your expertise to the further development of processes.

Qualifications

• You have completed training as a Tax Assistant (m/f/d) or hold a qualification as a certified Accountant (IHK) (m/f/d).
• You have sound professional experience in financial accounting and are familiar with the essential areas of ongoing bookkeeping.
• You are proficient and experienced in handling general ledger accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
• You are familiar with the independent preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch - German Commercial Code).
• Ideally, you have knowledge of accounting according to KAGB and have already worked with companies from the fund or real estate sector.
• You are proficient with MS Office; knowledge of SAP is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.
• You work meticulously, independently, and in a structured manner, and you enjoy taking responsibility for your area of work.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are as characteristic of you as your reliable work ethic.
• You remain solution-oriented even with complex issues and keep the necessary details in focus.
