Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

About us

Tyro is a dynamic growing platform for pest control in Europe. In Germany, we currently manage six operational units through a holding company. We are building a group-wide in-house finance and accounting setup to harmonize bookkeeping, reporting, and tax processes and strengthen internal competencies.

We are looking for several experienced financial/budget accountants/accountants who enjoy actively shaping structures and processes. Both part-time and full-time possible.

Tasks

1. Ongoing Financial Bookkeeping

• Complete execution of bookkeeping (creditors, debtors, banks, asset accounts) for several companies
• Processing prepared documents from operational units
• Clearing and aligning open items
• Responsibility for intercompany alignments

2. Monthly and Annual Closures

• Preparation of monthly closures according to HGB (Fast-Close)
• Preparation of annual closures in collaboration with tax consultants
• Building provisions and allocations
• Care for accounting questions and special topics
• Group reporting

3. Process Harmonization & System Setup

• Participation in setting up a group-wide shared-service-accounting (3-5 people perspective)
• Standardization of account frameworks, booking guidelines, and closing checklists
• Support for insourcing individual companies

4. Collaboration with Operational Units

• Collaboration with employees in operational units that perform preliminary bookkeeping
• Ensuring uniform processes and quality standards
• Tight collaboration with Finance, Controlling, and Management

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a commercial education or degree with a focus on finance/accounting
• Further training as an accountant (IHK) or comparable several-year professional experience
• Very good knowledge of HGB and monthly/annual closure processes
• Experience in accounting for multiple companies is advantageous
• Routine handling of Datev and MS Office
• Analytical, structured, and reliable working style
• Pleasure in building and improving processes
• Outstanding communication skills and pragmatism
