Balance Clerk (m/w/d) Location Recklinghausen Responsibilities Planning, controlling, and optimizing daily workflows as well as leading a 5-member team with a focus on communication and team strengthening Independent execution of ongoing financial accounting including closing entries, provisions, and account maintenance Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, IFRS, and tax law Responsibility for value-added tax topics in Germany and abroad (including ZM, Z5a, Reihengeschäfte...) Coordination and implementation of financial planning and budgeting, including forecasting and variance analysis Preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Support in the preparation of tax returns and other financial statements, including the preparation of financial statements for the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the German Federal Tax Office (Bundesfinanzamt) Collaboration with other departments, such as accounting, controlling, and tax consulting, to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and the preparation of financial statements
