Accountant (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced accountant (m/w/d) at our location in Bremen, Germany.

Our client is a well-established company with international presence and strong focus on quality and continuous development.

To strengthen the finance team, we are seeking a qualified individual who can bring their expertise in accounting and actively contribute to optimizing financial processes.

Aufgaben

• Processing of a broad range of tasks in accounting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB with support from the team
• Support for preliminary activities for consolidated financial statements of the parent company within a team
• Active participation in exciting project topics in accounting
• Processing and counting of business transactions and process optimizations in this area
• Coordination and monitoring of creditor, debtor, and asset accounting
• Intercompany coordination and settlement of payment flows
• Preparation of value-added tax returns, summary reports, and statistical reports
• Participation in projects to shape processes, including the further development of ERP software
• Participation in developing guidelines and implementing them, as well as tax-related topics
• Closely working with management and external advisors (e.g. auditors, inspectors)

Qualifikation

• Economic education or business studies degree
• Prior relevant further training, e.g. Certified Accountant (IHK) or Tax Consultant, etc.,
• Relevant professional experience in accounting
• Experience in the described tasks
• Experience with an ERP system
• Teamwork and self-motivated work style
