Accountant (m/f/d)

To strengthen the Finance team, we are looking for a dedicated Accountant (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Participation in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including consolidation of subsidiaries
• Ensuring high quality of financial statements and timely reporting and closing processes
• Responsibility for selected areas of ongoing financial accounting
• Execution of account, intercompany, and balance reconciliations
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, tax auditors, and internal departments
• Preparation and support of annual financial statement and tax audits
• Support of management in balance sheet, business management, and process-related issues
• Participation in tax matters and statistical reports
• Analysis, optimization, and digitalization of accounting and finance processes
• Active involvement in efficient workflows, automation, and modern reporting structures
• Participation in cross-departmental projects and special topics

Qualifications

• Successfully completed business administration degree with a focus on accounting, finance, or controlling, or further training as a certified accountant (IHK)
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting and controlling in a medium-sized company or group
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial statement preparation in accordance with HGB
• Experience in group consolidation is an advantage
• Confident demeanor when dealing with auditors and tax advisors
• Good ERP knowledge, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Very good Excel skills and a strong affinity for numbers and processes
• Interest in digitalization, automation, and modern finance structures
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented
• Working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and sense of responsibility
• Good English skills for collaboration with international companies
