Accountant (m/f/d) for Fund and Real Estate Company

For an established and professional company at the Munich location, we are looking for an Accountant or Tax Assistant (m/f/d) with experience in supporting companies from the fund and real estate sector, as part of exclusive direct placement.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the ongoing bookkeeping support of several companies in the fund and real estate sector, particularly those with legal forms GmbH and GmbH & Co. KG.
• You will also manage complex corporate structures and multi-level investment models.
• The preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements is also part of your area of responsibility, as is the independent balance sheet assessment of the companies supported.
• You will prepare financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code) guidelines; knowledge or experience in KAGB (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch - German Capital Investment Code) accounting is particularly welcome.
• You will ensure the timely preparation of various internal and external analyses and reports.
• In addition, you will prepare profit forecasts, projections, and meaningful planned-vs-actual analyses.
• You will liaise with auditors, business partners, and internal contacts on balance sheet or bookkeeping matters.
• You will actively participate in clarifying and resolving complex issues and ensure a reliable data basis.

Qualifications

• You have a completed qualification as a Certified Accountant (IHK) (m/f/d) or completed training as a Tax Assistant (m/f/d).
• Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience in financial and management accounting.
• You master the relevant areas of accounting – from general ledger accounts to accounts receivable and payable, as well as fixed asset accounting.
• You are proficient in the independent preparation and support of annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Knowledge in the area of KAGB or the accounting of fund and capital management companies is a plus.
• You work routinely with common MS Office applications. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• You are characterized by diligent, structured, and self-responsible work habits.
• You enjoy working in a team, are reliable, and maintain an overview even with challenging topics.
• You approach new tasks pragmatically and solution-oriented.
