Job description
For an internationally active industrial company in the energy infrastructure sector, you will manage bids for high-voltage projects in global markets. You will lead the bid team across all functions, assess risks and opportunities, and submit the documentation on time. Genuine tender experience from the industry is required, not just contract assistance.
This is what characterizes the position
- Overall responsibility for the bidding process, from Bid/No-Bid to submission
- International tenders from network operators and general contractors
Your Tasks
- Review tenders and develop well-founded Bid/No-Bid recommendations together with sales management
- Lead the bid team comprising Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Finance, and Legal
- Develop cost calculations, price offers, and contract conditions, systematically assess risks and opportunities
- Compile, review, and submit tender documents technically, commercially, and legally, on time
- Prepare and conclude pre-qualifications and supplier registrations with network operators and general contractors
- Maintain tender and pipeline data in the ERP system, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, and support sales reporting
- Accompany contract negotiations, evaluate Win/Loss analyses, and improve templates and processes in Bid Management
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration, or comparable qualification
- At least five years of personal tender responsibility in energy infrastructure or comparable international project business
- Experience with high-voltage systems or general contractor projects is a clear advantage
- Proficient in cost calculation, strong analytical skills, and good knowledge of commercial contract terms
- Demonstrable coordination of cross-functional teams, proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Fluent English is mandatory, German is an advantage in everyday use
Work location: Aarau region, Switzerland (on-site). Workload: 100%.
