The Company

Pysae is a software publisher with 40 employees that develops SaaS solutions for the public transport sector. Our platform covers real-time vehicle tracking, passenger information, and operations management for bus and coach operators — designed to improve operational efficiency and integrate deeply with our clients' information systems.

We support over 120 clients, including major operators like Transdev, Keolis, and RATP, and equip more than 10,000 buses in mainland France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia. Building on our strong French base, we are now pursuing international development — and we are looking for a Bid Engineer to strengthen our tender management and pre-sales capabilities, with a focus on our European expansion.

Your Mission

As a Bid Engineer, you are the cornerstone of Pysae's commercial success in tenders — and a key technical voice for clients during the pre-sales phase. You combine strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to clearly present our solution to an IT Director, Operations Manager, or Purchasing Department.

You work hand-in-hand with the Sales, Product, and Deployment teams to assess our possible commitments and build a convincing and compliant response to each tender. You also act as the link between all parties when Pysae bids as an integrator: you coordinate partners, subcontractors, and external project managers to ensure everyone delivers their contribution on time. From the first tender to the contract signing, you ensure that Pysae presents itself credibly, rigorously, and ready to deliver.

Your Responsibilities

Tender Management

• Monitor and qualify relevant tenders for Pysae, in France and internationally

• Analyze specifications and assess technical and commercial feasibility with the Sales, Product, and Deployment teams

• Draft and structure technical memorandums and responses to tenders, adapting and translating dossiers for the European market

• Ensure administrative compliance of submissions (supporting documents, certificates, deadlines, dematerialized platforms)

Pre-Sales and Client Relations

• Present Pysae and the solution to clients and prospects during pre-sales meetings: product demonstrations, technical prerequisites, functional and technical questions

• Support the sales team on technical topics, from needs discovery to closing

Partner and Project Coordination

• Act as the primary contact for partners, subcontractors, and external project managers when Pysae bids as an integrator

• Coordinate the contributions of all stakeholders during the pre-sales phase, managing the offer like a full project

Continuous Improvement

• Build and maintain a library of reusable content (standard responses, client references, technical proof elements)

• Track the tender pipeline and success rates, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the response process
  

Your Profile

• Languages: Fluent English, Professional French

• Experience: 3 to 8 years in tender management, technical pre-sales, or a similar role, ideally in public markets

• Writing and Structuring: Excellent writing and summarization skills, strong attention to detail

• Communication: Comfortable presenting a technical solution to various stakeholders — operational, technical, decision-makers

• Coordination: Capable of managing multi-stakeholder coordination (partners, subcontractors, external project managers) with a project management approach

• Organization: Rigorous, structured, able to manage multiple files simultaneously under tight deadlines

• Cross-functionality: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Tech, Product, and Finance teams

• A plus: Knowledge of the public transport or mobility sector
