The University Library Graz is a universal library with a scientific orientation and public mandate for the entire region. With around four million media, we are one of the largest libraries in Austria. Our collection includes books, journals, databases, and other media, which are available to students, researchers, and the general public. We provide information services, support research and teaching, and promote lifelong learning. The Department of Geography Library is a specialized library that serves the needs of students, researchers, and staff from the Faculty of Geographical Sciences. Our collection includes materials on geography, environmental sciences, spatial planning, and related fields. We are looking for a qualified librarian to work in our team. As a librarian at the University Library Graz, you will be responsible for: • Developing and maintaining the library's collections and services • Providing information and research support to students, researchers, and staff • Participating in the development of new services and projects • Collaborating with other libraries and institutions • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information. The ideal candidate should have a degree in librarianship or a related field, as well as experience in library work. You should be able to communicate effectively in German and English.
