BI Platform Engineer IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced developer as a service provider already market leader for IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) in the DACH region and love to accompany companies with innovative BI- and analytics solutions on their way into the data-driven future.

To ensure that our customers can plan and analyze on a stable and secure technical basis, we are looking for a BI Platform Engineer IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) (m/w/d) immediately for our location in Munich, Düsseldorf or Remote, who will work together with a very experienced colleague to operate, develop and gradually take over the know-how of TM1 platforms.

Aufgaben

In your role as BI Platform Engineer, you ensure that our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environments run stably, performantly and securely. Specifically, this means:

• You install, configure and operate our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) environments on Windows- and Linux-servers.
• You are responsible for the technical operation of TM1 servers, TM1 Web and Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), including user management, monitoring and maintenance.
• You take care of updates, patches and securing the systems (e.g. authentication, certificates, encryption).
• You work closely with our BI Consultants: You ensure together that new solutions are technically well-set up and performant.
• You analyze errors and performance problems, find sustainable solutions and document your adjustments.
• You support in setting up and operating cloud environments (e.g. in Azure) and bring your ideas for automation and standardization into play.
• In the onboarding process, you directly benefit from the knowledge of a long-term expert who will accompany you intensively and pass on his experience to you.

Qualifikation

If you enjoy understanding, stabilizing and continuously improving technical platforms, you fit us perfectly. What's important to us are:

• Experience in administering Windows- or Linux-servers (ideally both).
• Praxis in operating applications on servers (e.g. databases, BI/analytics systems, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of working with databases and SQL (reading and writing).
• First experience with a scripting language (e.g. PowerShell, Batch or Shell) for automating recurring tasks.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Ideal candidate already has contact with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or the clear motivation to deeply immerse themselves in it.
• Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills.
• Nice-to-have but not a must: Experience with topics like Docker, Single Sign-on, certificates.
