BI-Engineer / Data Warehouse Developer (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

Your tasks: Data Warehouse and BI at your fingertips

• Configuration, administration, maintenance, and further development of the data warehouse in close cooperation with the IT department.
• Further development of the company-wide data architecture, including the implementation of data governance principles.
• Analysis, recording, and further development of requirements for the data use case.
• Conceptualization, implementation, and monitoring of robust ETL jobs.
• Ongoing monitoring of data quality in the data warehouse using available tools.
• Performance analysis and optimization of system-spanning processes in the DWH/Business Intelligence environment.
• Ongoing documentation of data models and data contents.

Qualifikation

Your profile: Fundamentally knowledgeable and analytically strong

• Qualification: A fundamental education in the field of computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Experience as a data engineer and in building and maintaining/ further developing ETL processes is advantageous.
• Tools: Familiarity with common SQL-, visualization-, and ETL-tools (e.g. SSIS, possibly Apache Airflow or SSAS).
• Databases: Experience in database administration of systems such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, IBM DB2 for i, Progress, etc.
• Persönlichkeit: Analytical, structured working style paired with high communication skills.
