Come join the NBD team as a Data Warehouse & BI Architect. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead business intelligence projects from their inception to implementation completion. Your responsibilities include working with clients and transforming requirements into architecture and design, guiding towards best development practices, programming functionalities, managing resources, scope, and deadlines. Gathering and evaluating functional and technical requirements Evaluating current reporting environments for functional requirements fulfillment Developing conceptual and logical data models Developing data source mapping Ensuring client satisfaction, meeting deadlines, ensuring quality through personal involvement Establishing standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies This role involves responsibility for decisions and recommendations for a particularly complex environment. 5+ years of designing solutions for companies with intensive use of large data volumes
Strong skills and experience in data management solutions
Proven experience in implementing company-level data management processes and tools for decision support
Knowledge of data management tools, including warehousing/storage, migration, and information delivery, data modeling tools, data integration tools from Oracle and/or Microsoft.
Experience with the complete IT system lifecycle
Knowledge of physical and logical data modeling techniques and the development of a data management strategy and associated policies
Solid knowledge of practices, methodologies, and tools for data sources, transformation, loading, and data management
Ensuring quality throughout the information lifecycle
Data management know-how
Results-oriented with the ability for independent critical thinking and problem-solving
Ability to work independently and/or with teams to consistently develop and support high-quality solutions
Experience in the banking industry is a plus!
Detailed knowledge and experience in one or more database technologies
Detailed knowledge and experience in data integration technologies or similar technologies
General knowledge and experience in one or more data integration, reporting, and warehousing technologies from a project management, design, and development perspective
Knowledge and experience in data integration technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle)
Knowledge and experience in database and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle and Teradata secondary, IBM)
