BI Developer

Job Title: BI Developer Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team in Stellenbosch. The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that allow us to make informed business decisions based on data analysis. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar software - Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to stakeholders - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, and design solutions that meet those needs - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to support business decision-making - Ensure data quality and integrity by developing and implementing data validation and data cleansing processes - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions - Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions with our data warehousing and data lake infrastructure - Participate in the development of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity - Provide training and support to end-users on the use of BI solutions and data visualizations - Develop and maintain documentation of BI solutions and data visualizations, including user guides and technical documentation - Participate in the development of data visualization and reporting standards and guidelines - Collaborate with the data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business and industry, and apply this knowledge to develop BI solutions that meet business needs - Ensure that all BI solutions are developed and implemented in accordance with our company's policies and procedures - Participate in the development of a data-driven culture within our organization, and promote the use of data and analytics to drive business decisions.
