BI & Analytics Engineer (Power BI, Azure, Databricks)

• Proven experience in BI and Analytics engineering or a similar data-focused role
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and Python
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and data integration tools like Lobster (or similar)
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to process improvement
• Experience working with external vendors and ensuring high-quality technical deliverables
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Take full ownership of the BI & Analytics tech stack, including Power BI, Databricks, Azure services, handling tickets, managing bug fixes, and implementing new requirements.
• Co-develop and maintain data models that power our Power BI dashboards and advanced analytics solutions.
• Code in SQL and Python within the Databricks environment to build and optimize data pipelines.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (Executive, Product, Sales, Marketing) to understand data needs and offer technical support.
• Build and maintain large, complex datasets for business and analytics use cases using ADF, Databricks, and Lobster.
• Drive internal process improvements, such as automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, and infrastructure redesign.
• Measure the value and impact of implemented solutions and help prioritize based on business needs.
• Coordinate external vendors to ensure scalable and reliable technical solutions are developed and maintained.
• Ensure quality, security, monitoring, testing, and release management of all BI solutions.
• Document all solutions and processes, and manage smooth handovers to IT operations or external support teams.
• Support and promote a strong Data Culture across the organization.
• Train and support business users in building Power BI dashboards based on our centralized data models.
