What will you do?

As an airport security officer, you will work with colleagues to ensure a safe airport. Your tasks include:

• paying attention to unusual or unsafe situations;
• carrying out security checks, such as pat-downs and X-ray checks and identity checks;
• checking travelers, employees, vehicles, and access passes;
• answering questions and assisting people;
• collaborating with colleagues, the Marechaussee (Royal Netherlands Marechaussee), and Customs.

You will work in rotating shifts: during the day, in the evening, at night, and on weekends. You will always do this together with a team, following clear procedures and agreements.

• You are in possession of the original SVPB diploma (MBO-level 2 security diploma);
• You can work during the day, in the evening, at night, and on weekends
• You live within 50 km of Schiphol
• You can also travel to work at night (own transport or public transport)
• You are not colorblind and can clearly distinguish images
• You speak Dutch well and a little English
• You remain calm, professional, and service-oriented – even under pressure.
