Operations Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic 100% (m/f/d)

Our client, Gebr. Gemüsekulturen AG, is an established Swiss family business based in Zurich. The company produces high-quality vegetable and salad products for the Swiss market and combines modern greenhouse technology with efficient production and packaging processes.

We are looking for a self-reliant and technically adept personality who takes responsibility for the maintenance of diverse facilities and ensures their reliable operation.

What can you achieve?

• Ensure the operational readiness of greenhouse, production, and packaging facilities, as well as technical infrastructure.
• Independently carry out maintenance, repair, and upkeep work on machines, facilities, and technical equipment.
• Be responsible for the technical maintenance at several production sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and document maintenance work, and organize necessary spare parts.
• Analyze and resolve technical disruptions to minimize production downtimes as much as possible.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility availability and operational safety.

To ensure success, your profile should include:

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) in a technical field, ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Solid experience in machine and facility maintenance, preferably in a production environment.
• Electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach with strong technical understanding.
• Enjoyment of a varied range of tasks with significant personal responsibility.
• Willingness to undertake occasional Saturday work and be on call.
