• In your new role, you will have overall responsibility for monitoring, controlling, and maintaining the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the composting and fermentation plant.
• You will monitor the composting and fermentation process as well as the quality assurance program, document measurement and work results, and continuously optimize plant performance and process engineering operations.
• You will always keep an eye on legal obligations (especially from occupational safety, environmental protection, and fire safety) as well as deadlines for maintenance and inspection intervals and ensure their compliance.
• You will reliably coordinate the execution of maintenance and repairs, take over the strategic commissioning of external companies, and subsequently accept their services.
• As Operations Manager, you will lead and motivate the local trade personnel, coordinate staff deployment, and foster a productive team atmosphere.
• Within your authority, you will be responsible for the procurement of spare parts and operating materials, and you will round off your area of responsibility by reviewing invoices.

• As a foundation, you have successfully completed a degree in natural sciences or engineering in the field of environmental engineering, agricultural engineering, bioengineering, or a related discipline.
• Furthermore, you already possess leadership experience or bring the necessary assertiveness, a confident demeanor, and the necessary empathy to lead a trade team.
• You are characterized by a good ability to grasp concepts and strong technical understanding, which enables you to quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics and find pragmatic solutions.
• You are familiar with documentation and reporting in plant operations.
• A high degree of commitment and flexibility, a structured way of working, as well as strong communication skills and team spirit, complete your profile.
