Operations Manager for Rail Transport

The TPF are facing important challenges in the further development of their rail transport, both humanly and technologically speaking. Against this backdrop, particularly marked by the impending retirement of the incumbent, the TPF are seeking an experienced operations manager to lead the team responsible for the smooth operation of the rail network, ensuring punctuality and reliability, as well as coordinating with other departments and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with excellent communication and leadership skills. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing strategies for the further development of the rail transport system; • Coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the rail network; • Ensuring punctuality and reliability of train services; • Leading and managing a team of approximately 20 employees; • Collaborating with other departments, such as maintenance, infrastructure, and customer service.
