Operations Manager / COO - Sales & Operations Private Markets (m/f) 100% Nordstein is one of the leading providers in Switzerland when it comes to supporting companies in their capital raising and enabling investors to access selected stakes in start-ups and SMEs. For the further expansion of our business, we are looking for an experienced personality from the financial or investment environment to be responsible for the operational further development of our company as COO / Operations Manager, starting immediately or by arrangement. The focus is on leading and developing our sales team, scaling day-to-day business, optimizing internal processes, and building additional sales channels. We are not looking for a purely strategic business development personality, but an operational operations manager with a strong understanding of sales, leadership skills, and experience in the financial sector. Operations Manager / COO - Sales & Operations Private Markets (m/f) 100% Your tasks Operative leadership and further development of daily business in close cooperation with management Leadership, coaching and further development of the existing consulting team with a focus on activity, quality and performance improvement Management and further development of customer business as well as ongoing analysis of activities and results Further development and standardization of customer processes from initial contact through consulting and closing to existing customer support Identification of operational weaknesses and bottlenecks as well as development and implementation of concrete improvement measures Building scalable internal processes and clear responsibilities between customer consulting, back office, marketing, and management Further development of existing CRM, reporting, and control systems Introduction of modern approaches to customer acquisition and consulting, digital tools, automation, and AI-supported processes to increase productivity and efficiency Development of new approaches to lead generation, qualification, and systematic approach to potential investors Building an additional sales channel to family offices, wealth managers, professional and institutional investors, as well as other relevant financial intermediaries Building and maintaining relevant networks and partnerships Accompanying important customer discussions and supporting the consulting team in more complex consulting situations Responsibility for operational projects and ensuring consistent implementation Further development of operational management reporting as a basis for decision-making for management Close cooperation with management on personnel planning, recruiting, goal setting, and organizational development Your qualifications Completed studies in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in the financial sector, e.g. at a bank, wealth manager, asset manager, family office, financial service provider, or private equity/venture capital company Demonstrable experience in consulting and placing financial products, capital investments, or complex financial services is a great advantage Leadership experience in customer-oriented consulting business or in a comparable operational function Strong understanding of the efficient organization and scaling of operational daily business Ability to critically analyze, structure, and independently optimize existing processes High affinity for modern technologies, CRM systems, automation, and the practical application of AI in customer acquisition and operational processes Existing network with family offices, wealth managers, banks, or professional investors is a great advantage Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented approach with a strong will to implement Natural leadership strength as well as the ability to challenge, develop, and measure employees against clear results Very good German language skills, spoken and written, English is an advantage Our offer Key operational position with direct influence on the scaling and further development of the company Direct cooperation with management and short decision-making paths Responsibility for the further development of our customer business and central operational processes High degree of design freedom in the introduction of new systems, technologies, and approaches to customer acquisition Opportunity to build an additional sales channel to family offices, wealth managers, and professional investors Established investment boutique with an existing client base, consulting team, and clear growth strategy Attractive remuneration model with a fixed salary and a performance-based component Modern, high-quality equipped office in a central location in Zurich Performance-oriented work environment with short decision-making paths and an entrepreneurial culture You can expect a central leadership position in a modern investment boutique.
