Responsibilities

As the Plant Manager Heating Plants (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our biomass heating plants in the Geiselhöring/Straubing/Regensburg region and will independently assume technical support for the plants.

• Plant Operation: You will monitor and control the operation of our biomass heating plants on-site and remotely, ensuring technical availability and safe plant operation.

• Maintenance and Repair: You will independently plan and carry out maintenance and repair work on boiler, conveying, hydraulic, and control components.

• Fault Management: You will analyze and resolve technical faults and initiate further measures if necessary to ensure plant operation.

• Service Provider Coordination: You will coordinate external specialist companies for maintenance and repair operations, align the work with the technical team, and control their professional execution.

• Fuel Quality: You will check the quality of delivered wood fuels and ensure compliance with operational specifications.

• Documentation and Optimization: You will maintain digital operating logs, document maintenance and fault measures, and actively contribute to plant optimization.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training, for example, as a Sanitary, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Systems Mechanic (Anlagenmechaniker SHK), Heating Installer (Heizungsbauer), Mechatronics Technician (Mechatroniker), Agricultural Machinery Mechanic (Landmaschinenmechaniker), or in a comparable profession.

• Ideally, at least three years of professional experience in a technical field, preferably in the operation or maintenance of heating, biomass, or energy generation plants.

• Sound technical understanding of boiler, conveying, hydraulic, and control components and ideally, you have experience in maintenance, repair, and fault analysis.

• Proficient use of common MS Office applications and basic IT knowledge. Experience with visualization or remote control systems is an advantage.

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work within a team.

• Driver's license class B. Willingness to regularly travel to our plants in the greater Straubing/Regensburg area. Forklift license desirable.

• Participation in the on-call duty (approx. one week per month)
