Large Machinery Electrician (m/w/d)

We are looking for a skilled electrician (m/w/d) at SKILLs for a renowned company in the field of coated, laminated, and metallized textiles and materials.

This company has been standing for quality in coated, laminated, and metallized textiles and materials such as films and nonwovens like foil and fabric. The company processes and refines substrate material that is available in the form of strips or rolls. From its locations in Freiburg, Philadelphia, and New York, the company supplies customers worldwide from the packaging, solar, pharmaceutical, automotive, and aerospace industries.

Tasks

• Carrying out maintenance and inspections of equipment/equipment components
• Independent fault diagnosis and rectification on machines/equipment
• Spares management
• Coordination of workflows with the Technical Management, departmentally internally, suppliers, and service providers
• Implementation of all safety regulations for existing equipment and new investments
• Synchronization and collaboration with the appointed representatives for safety and fire protection as well as implementation of requirements at the location
• Ensuring all necessary on-site training for employees
• Participation in project planning and project monitoring
• Maintenance readiness (mostly not on weekends)

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of an apprenticeship in electrical engineering, e.g. electronics technician for automation technology or electrical engineer, mechatronics technician, or similar training programs
• Professional experience in machine and equipment service
• Ability and experience with high-voltage power
• Independent work as well as quality-conscious working style
• Teamwork ability and positive mindset
