The Salvation Army Switzerland Foundation, as a leading social non-profit organization and church, offers uncomplicated support to people in challenging life situations. It operates two residential facilities in Winterthur for homeless and housing-insecure individuals.
In the Winterthur residential home, we support up to 36 adults. Due to various personal, social, psychological, or addiction-related problems, these individuals require a temporary housing solution.
Your tasks
Occasional everyday-oriented support for residents
Stabilization of life situations, strengthening of autonomy, and expansion of residents' opportunities for action
Collaboration with authorities, specialized services, healthcare sector, support network
Reception and telephone operation
Electronic case management
Partial housekeeping tasks
What you bring
Professional experience with people in challenging life situations in a residential setting (mental health problems, addiction, marginalization)
Preferably FaBe, FaGe, SozPäd
Independent, resilient personality
Strong self-competence and social competence
Identification with the values of the Salvation Army
