Job Description A paving layer foreman in a concrete factory is responsible for producing formwork for the production of concrete prefabricated elements. Formwork are temporary structures where the concrete is poured and hardened. The tasks and responsibilities of a paving layer on a prefabrication department include: - Reading and interpreting technical plans and drawings - Placing prefab reinforcement boxes on the track - The preparation of the mold by applying a release agent, ensuring that the formwork is properly aligned and secured - Ensuring that the formwork is properly cleaned and maintained to prevent damage or contamination - Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient production processes - Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety regulations - Performing quality control checks on the produced formwork - Reporting any defects or irregularities to the supervisor. The foreman is also responsible for: - Supervising and guiding a team of paving layers - Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures - Maintaining accurate records of production, including quantities and quality of formwork produced.
