What will you do?

Freedom, being on the road, and lots of contact with people. If that suits you, then a job as a bus driver might just be your next destination. In this role, you ensure every day that our passengers get where they need to be safely and pleasantly. Don't have experience as a bus driver yet and no D license? No worries. If you're enthusiastic and we are too, then we will provide your training and offer you a job guarantee for one of the nicest jobs in the Netherlands. As a bus driver (in training) at Transdev – the largest mobility company in the Netherlands – no day is the same.

As a bus driver, you are a familiar face for our passengers: reliable, involved, and friendly. They can count on you through thick and thin. They board your bus with peace of mind, because you ensure they reach their destination comfortably and on time. You will of course drive fixed routes according to an existing timetable, but we give you the space to do your job your way. What we offer you:

• A valid B driver's license
• MBO (vocational education) work and thinking level
• Living in the vicinity of Best
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts
• Good command of the Dutch language to be able to follow the training

What do you bring?

As a bus driver at Transdev, you work independently, but you are never alone. Together with over 8,000 colleagues, you work on mobility every day. If you are new to the profession, you can start the training to become a bus driver through the Transdev Academy. At our own academy, we train you to become a fully-fledged bus driver in approximately 12 weeks. We pay for your training, and during this period, you will receive a availability allowance of €1,870 gross per month. Additionally, we offer:

• Our trust: a permanent contract after 1 year with good performance;
• A salary between €2,876 and €2,931 per month;
• Monthly irregularity allowance of an average of €355, for full-time employment;
• 8% holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 1.15% and an annual gross bonus of €400;
• Occasional rest: 23 to 29 vacation days, depending on your age;
• Extra days off: 17 compensatory days off (ATV);
• We care for now and later: pension according to Rail & OV;
• Sustainable travel: a (electric) bicycle via Lease a Bike after 1 year;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV.
