What will you do?

Becoming a bus driver might not have been something you'd ever considered. But you love driving, enjoy a friendly chat, and value your freedom. Don't have any experience as a bus driver or a D license yet? No problem! If you're enthusiastic, and we are too, then we'll provide your training and offer you a job guarantee for the best job in the Netherlands. Because as a bus driver (in training) at Transdev - the largest mobility company in the Netherlands - no day is the same. We offer you a lot of freedom, responsibility, and room for development.

As a bus driver, you are the rock for our travelers in Amstelveen. From the Cobra to the Amsterdamse Bos, you get them where they need to be, safely and quickly. They can count on you through thick and thin, and moreover, you offer them a friendly smile and a warm welcome.

The work of a bus driver offers a lot of freedom. Of course, you have your fixed routes and times, but because you drive alone, you need to be able to work independently and responsibly. Essentially, you are the boss in your own bus.

A social and responsible role, in which you:

• Drive punctually and safely
• Take care of the passengers
• Have a customer-friendly attitude
• Are willing to work flexible shifts

What we offer you:

At Transdev, you work in a team with lots of social contact and responsibility. Are you new to the profession? Then you will follow the paid training to become a bus driver at the Transdev Academy. During the training, you will receive a monthly allowance of €1,870. You drive in your own environment and know your schedule a year in advance. Want to know more about the training? • Our trust: a permanent contract after 1 year of good performance;
• A salary between €2,820 and €2,874 per month;
• Monthly irregularity allowance of an average of €355, for full-time employment;
• 8% holiday pay and a year-end bonus of 1.15% and an annual gross bonus of €400;
• Occasional rest: 24 to 29 vacation days, depending on your age;
• Extra days off: 17 or 26 ATV days (leave days for reduced working hours), depending on your age and years of service;
• We take care of now and later: pension according to Rail & OV (Public Transport);
• Sustainable travel: an (electric) bicycle through Lease a Bike after 1 year;
• Travel expenses reimbursement according to the CAO OV (Collective Labor Agreement Public Transport).

What do you bring?

A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible, and stress-resistant. Safety is paramount in your work, closely followed by the care for your passengers. You enjoy making a real contribution to society. A bit of humor and patience are also very welcome.

Furthermore, we ask for:

• A valid B driver's license
• MBO work and thinking level (vocational education equivalent)
• Living in the vicinity of Amstelveen
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts
