Head of Consumption Billing Department, preferably Industrial Engineer (m/f/d) – Stadtwerke Achim

Against this background, in the course of succession planning and organizational restructuring, we are looking for an analytically strong, reliable, and implementation-oriented personality for the position of Head of Consumption Billing Department, who will lead the department independently in the future. A structured handover and a solid knowledge transfer are guaranteed, as the previous incumbent will remain with the company in a different role.

• You will be responsible for the reliable management and consistent further development of the Consumption Billing Department with one department head and eight employees, reporting directly to the executive board.
• You will transform the underlying structures and processes for consumption billing and receivables management – economically and future-proof.
• You will expand the billing portfolio and create the conditions for efficiently integrating new tariff models and energy-related services into existing processes.
• You will ensure the compliant implementation of legal and regulatory requirements and are responsible for reliable consumption data for essential commercial controlling and closing processes.
• You will drive the digitalization and automation of the department and leverage the potential of future-oriented technologies to optimize billing, customer service, and customer communication.

• You have a completed university degree, for example in business administration or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification that qualifies you for the role.
• Your professional experience includes in-depth knowledge in energy industry consumption billing or in adjacent customer and market processes.
• You have already gained initial leadership experience or are ready for the next career step and convince with demonstrable leadership potential, a sense of responsibility, and a development-oriented mindset.
• You quickly grasp complex technical, regulatory, and economic contexts, combining your analytical strength with a structured, independent, and reliable working style.
• With a strong digital affinity, you are proficient in the relevant IT and billing systems, ideally including Schleupen.CS.
