(Exclusive) Head of Nursing (PDL) Spitex (80 -100%) / Permanent Position

On behalf of our client, a friendly, renowned, and rapidly growing Spitex organization (PA model) with a pleasant corporate culture (work location City of Bern or City of Zurich selectable, central locations, parking available, regular working hours), we are seeking an experienced Diploma Nurse / BSc Nursing for the role of Head of Department and Team Leader (PDL) to expand the team.

In this versatile role, you will lead a collegial team of specialists (Diploma Nurses and Diploma Healthcare Professionals), who are responsible for case management and nursing planning for the care, including preventive support, of clients at home. You will take responsibility for the nursing team, including recruitment, coaching, and staff development. You will coordinate optimal deployment and resource planning with the back office, as well as the overall steering of nursing processes (case management supervision). You will plan nursing services comprehensively, including supervision during needs assessments, and set objectives for Diploma Nurses/FaGe's and family caregivers (PA), who provide care on-site. You will also provide ad-hoc support in case management and coordination with health insurers and act as an advisor to the teams. In close collaboration with management, you will coordinate the monitoring and further development of nursing, hygiene, and safety standards. Together with your teams, you will ensure optimal delivery of nursing services and client care. As a communicative personality, you will find active collaboration and information exchange with various stakeholders (management, care team, external parties such as health insurers or authorities) easy. To be successful in this exciting role, you have completed a diploma in Nursing HF/FH or an equivalent further education, and ideally have additional qualifications (e.g., NDS in Medical or Business Administration, Leadership). You also hold a professional practice permit for healthcare leaders or can apply for one. Furthermore, you have gained extensive practical experience in leadership, case management, and coordination in the nursing sector (ideally including Spitex, possibly with the PA model). You enjoy communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, supervising nursing cases with your teams, and ensuring the optimal delivery of nursing services. You work with a high degree of independence, are well-organized, possess strong empathy, and a healthy dose of humor.
