Area Manager (m/w/d) Department of Electrical and Control Engineering

To further develop our Department of Electrical and Control Engineering, we are looking for a committed person who combines technical expertise, project competence, and entrepreneurial thinking. In this responsible role, you will actively shape projects, lead employees, and develop customer relationships further. The position encompasses both electrical engineering and control technology topics in energy generation and industrial facilities.

Tasks

• You will take over the technical and organizational leadership of the Technical Experts – Services Department of Electrical and Control Engineering
• You will be responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing internal processes within the department
• You will lead technical and commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers
• You will mentor our employees and partners on national and international projects and construction sites
• You will take over disciplinary leadership of employees at the Römerberg location as well as in project deployment
• You will bear sales and budget responsibility and develop existing customer relationships further together with the sales team

Qualification

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or energy technology or a comparable qualification

• Multiple years of experience in the fields of sales, engineering, or project management

• Fundamental knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

• Process or power plant automation

• Energy transmission

• Innovative energy concepts

• Entrepreneurial thinking, structured and self-reliant working style

• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking

• Travel readiness within the framework of national and international projects
