The position is to be filled immediately on a full-time basis (38.5 hours per week) and is permanent.

The EJF – Evangelisches Jugend- und Fürsorgewerk – is a social welfare organization operating nationwide with around 5,500 employees at over 300 locations. In our various fields of aid, we are committed to supporting people in different life situations and opening up prospects for them.

Responsibilities

• Leadership responsibility and team development
• Securing the refinancing of our projects in social work
• Responsibility for financial planning and reporting
• Active participation in day-to-day business
• Support and further development of digitalization of processes in the controlling department
• Contact person for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree (e.g., Business Administration, Controlling)
• Proven, several years of experience in leading and developing teams, including motivation and targeted promotion of individual strengths to achieve team goals
• Sound knowledge in the refinancing of social work
• Experience in financial planning and budgeting
• Practical experience in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• High degree of reliability, sense of responsibility, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strength in analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, communication, and teamwork skills in order to successfully interact with internal and external partners and to convey information clearly
• Ideally, experience in implementing digitalization projects in controlling for continuous improvement of financial processes

• Attractive remuneration: 5,592.38 to 6,769.73 Euros gross (full-time, depending on professional experience, collective agreement AVR DWBO West) plus annual special payment
