Calculation Engineer Structural Analysis (m/f/d)

On behalf of our partner company, we are looking for you as a "Calculation Engineer FEM & Structural Analysis (m/f/d) " as soon as possible.

Tasks

• You will perform structural-mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems
• You will create and optimize calculation models, define boundary conditions and load cases, and evaluate the results with regard to strength and load-bearing capacity
• Furthermore, you will develop technical improvement suggestions and present calculation results to internal and external contacts
• You will analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms and support with numerical and analytical calculations
• Additionally, you will accompany trials and tests and contribute to the further development of calculation methods and material models

Qualification

• The basis is a completed degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Mechanics, or a comparable engineering discipline
• Ideally, you have professional experience as a Calculation Engineer (m/f/d), Simulation Engineer (m/f/d), FEM Engineer (m/f/d), or Development Engineer (m/f/d)
• You have knowledge in FEM calculation, simulation, and structural analysis, as well as practical experience with HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys, or comparable tools
• In addition, knowledge of relevant calculation guidelines and methods, such as FKM guideline or VDI 2230, as well as Linux knowledge are advantageous
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing are important
