Calculation Engineer Structural Analysis (m/f/d)

On behalf of our partner company, we are looking for you as a Calculation Engineer FEM & Structural Analysis (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• You will perform structural mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems.
• You will create and optimize calculation models, define boundary conditions and load cases, and evaluate the results with regard to strength and load-bearing capacity.
• Furthermore, you will develop technical improvement suggestions and present calculation results to internal and external contacts.
• You will analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms and support numerical and analytical calculations.
• In addition, you will accompany tests and trials and participate in the further development of calculation methods and material models.

Qualifications

• The basis is a completed degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computational mechanics, or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Ideally, you have professional experience as a calculation engineer (m/f/d), simulation engineer (m/f/d), FEM engineer (m/f/d), or development engineer (m/f/d).
• You have knowledge of FEM calculation, simulation, and structural analysis, as well as practical experience with HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys, or comparable tools.
• In addition, knowledge of relevant calculation guidelines and methods, such as FKM guideline or VDI 2230, as well as Linux knowledge are advantageous.
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and fluent German and English skills in spoken and written word are important.
