Structural Analysis Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for a "Structural Analysis Engineer FEM & Structural Analysis (m/w/d)" on behalf of our partner company.

Tasks

• You will perform structural mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems.
• You will create and optimize calculation models, define boundary conditions and load cases, and evaluate the results in terms of strength and durability.
• In addition, you will develop technical improvement proposals and present calculation results to internal and external stakeholders.
• You will analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms and support numerical and analytical calculations.
• You will also accompany tests and experiments and work on the further development of calculation methods and material models.

Qualification

• The foundation is a completed degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Mechanics or a comparable engineering science.
• If desired, you bring professional experience as a Structural Analysis Engineer (m/w/d), Simulation Engineer (m/w/d), FEM Engineer (m/w/d) or Development Engineer (m/w/d).
• You have knowledge of FEM calculation, simulation and structural analysis, as well as practical experience with HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys or comparable tools.
• In addition, knowledge of relevant calculation guidelines and methods, such as the FKM guideline or VDI 2230, as well as Linux knowledge are advantageous.
• Important are team skills, analytical thinking, a structured work style, and fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
