Job description
You advise dairy farming businesses on sustainable and economically viable further development of their farms. The goal is to improve competitiveness, promote animal welfare, animal health, and resource efficiency.
Tasks
- Conduct farm analyses and identify optimization potential in dairy farming
- Consult farmers on feeding strategies and improving animal health
- Support the implementation of modern technologies and procedures in dairy farms
- Develop tailored concepts to increase profitability and efficiency
- Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers and farm staff
Qualification
- Degree in Agricultural Sciences or equivalent qualification
- Multiple years of professional experience in dairy farming
- In-depth knowledge of feeding consultation and animal health
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- Will to regularly travel within Germany for work-related purposes
