The goal of the 'handicap' project is to support works councils and employee representatives as well as disabled worker representatives in supporting their companies in employing and training people with disabilities and solidifying the inclusive thinking in the companies.

Your Tasks

• Advisory services for workplace interest groups on the participation of people with disabilities in working life (SGB IX, Part 3) with a focus on prevention, inclusion, and rehabilitation. This includes topics such as employer obligations and rights of people with disabilities, tasks of disabled worker representatives, inclusive agreements, and company integration management (BEM)

• (proactive) advisory services and support for interest groups in concrete cases at the workplace

• Presentations and in-house training on advisory topics for committees and assemblies at the workplaces

• Moderation to develop inclusive agreements and BEM

• Preparation of expert contributions, working aids, and information materials

• Preparation of summary representations and reports on project work and its results

• Cooperation with committees and institutions in the field; maintenance of the network and contacts to organizations of workplace and extramural disability policy

Your Profile

• University degree, preferably in law, psychology, pedagogy, or adult education

• Experience in advisory work

• Experience in the field of rehabilitation and participation of people with disabilities

• Knowledge about the work of workplace interest groups

• Willingness to teamwork and ability to work independently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office standard programs

The weekly working time is up to 62.5% / 25 hours and will be remunerated according to the collective agreement of the Hamburg Labor Court (TV AVH) with a salary grade of 12. The position is to be filled as of September 1, 2026. The position is initially until June 30, 2028 - an extension of employment due to subsequent project duration is likely.
