We are looking for a consultant for SAP Release Management and Transport Control. The role supports the digital transformation and process optimization of maintenance through the control of system-spanning SAP-releases in a regulated environment.

Your Tasks
•Conducting release planning across multiple SAP systems
•Consultation on the execution of releases (including release calendars and scheduling, scope alignment and release approvals)
•Operative consultation on the execution of releases (preparation and coordination of transports, monitoring of implementation and development phases, as well as consultation during hypercare and stabilization phases)
•Conducting governance in all phases of the release (including compliance with approval and documentation requirements, transparent, revision-controlled documentation, and use of defined decision-making and escalation paths)
•Integration and coordination of test management (alignment of test windows, ensuring release readiness, and evaluation of test results as a basis for release decisions)
•Using the SAP Solution Manager (CHaRM / Testmanagement) for change and transport management, as well as release documentation
•Conducting release risk analyses and deriving measures

Must Requirements
•At least 3 years of experience in SAP transports system (TMS / CHaRM), particularly in SAP transport management with the SAP Solution Manager CHaRM, and in controlling transports within changes and releases
•At least 3 years of operational SAP experience in production-like SAP environments, including stabilization after releases
•At least 3 years of documented experience in SAP release management regarding planning, coordination, and execution of SAP releases across multiple systems, particularly in release planning, including release calendars, release approvals, and go-live decisions
•At least 3 years of experience in ensuring governance during release executions, as well as with regulated release-, approval- and documentation processes in regulated SAP environments with a focus on revision-controlled documentation
•At least 3 years of experience in test management in the SAP context, particularly in planning, defect evaluation, coordination, and evaluation of test results as a basis for release decisions
•German language skills at the C2 level (approximately native-like knowledge)
•Safe handling of the document platform CONFLUENCE, Microsoft SHAREPOINT, and the project management tool JIRA

Can Requirements
•Experience in at least two reference projects with S/4HANA system landscapes in the context of operation, release, or projects
•Basic knowledge or project experience in at least two reference projects with SAP Cloud ALM in test or release management contexts
•Certified understanding and application of standardized ITSM- and ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation / Practitioner) in the release and operation environment
•At least 3 years of experience in release risk and cutover management, particularly in early identification, evaluation, and control of release risks, as well as preparation and accompaniment of cutover and go-live phases

Further Information
The deployment location is Frankfurt am Main, with the majority of the performance delivery being remote or nearshore. Approximately 5 on-site person days in Frankfurt are planned for PI planning.
