Benchmarking and Cost Analysis Senior Cost Estimator x 5

Are you an experienced Senior Cost Estimator with a passion for delivering high-quality cost benchmarks and infrastructure analysis? This NSW Government agency is seeking five skilled professionals to join their Delivery Management team on a 6-month contract, supporting critical infrastructure projects across the state. The Opportunity In this role, you will play a key part in preparing infrastructure cost benchmarks and conducting detailed cost analysis on completed projects. Working within the team, you will be responsible for: • Developing and maintaining cost benchmarks for infrastructure projects; • Conducting detailed cost analysis on completed projects to identify trends and areas for improvement; • Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates; • Providing expert advice on cost management and budgeting to support project delivery; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of cost estimates and analysis. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for experienced Senior Cost Estimators who have a strong background in cost estimation, analysis, and benchmarking. You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost benchmarks and infrastructure analysis, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Skills and Qualifications You will need to have: • A degree in a relevant field such as construction, engineering, or a related discipline; • At least 5 years of experience in cost estimation, analysis, and benchmarking; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
