Job Title: Bench Toolmaker
Location: Green Fields, SA
Salary: $69,000 to 89,000 plus super
Work Set-up: Full-time, on-site
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Friday 3:00pm - 9:00pm

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Bench Toolmaker to join a dynamic and established team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision toolmaking, repairs, and maintenance to support high-quality production across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out bench-based toolmaking tasks, including accurate repair, inspections, and change-outs of existing tools
- Operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
- Inspect and quality-check finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing constructive feedback on processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety protocols
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bench Toolmaker
- Proven die polishing experience
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve production targets
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and proactive mindset towards continuous improvement
- Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential)
- Relevant trade qualification or formal training in Toolmaking
