For Municipality Roosendaal, we are looking for a Policies Advisor Nature and Landscape. Policies Advisor nature and landscape

Your tasks:
You give direction to the green policy of Roosendaal.

You advise on projects within the physical living environment, focusing on green, water, soil, ecology, climate adaptation, biodiversity, and spatial quality.
You advise on spatial projects such as the Minnebeek vision and Vrouwenhof vision.
You advise for the environmental chamber.
You follow current and new legislation (such as the Environmental Act) and translate this into applicable policy.
You evaluate quality improvement of the landscape.
You work on updating maps and reviewing the policy for main green structures.
You work on setting up the VAB policy framework.
You guide and advise the council of aldermen on policy-related questions and administrative decision-making regarding nature and landscape. You also prepare policy notes.

Your profile:
You are familiar with legislation surrounding nature and landscapes.

You can set up visions and policies, integrate them, and bring them into administrative routing.
You can be the voice for nature and landscape within projects, and you can advise a municipality on their ambitions in this area.
You understand the political and administrative context of this municipality and can effectively act upon it.
You possess at least a completed HBO or academic degree, preferably in landscape architecture, urban planning, water, or nature.
You have knowledge and experience in the field of land development, public space, and water management.
It is an advantage when you are aware of subsidy and cofinancing possibilities for water management and landscape development.
