Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant - Blackpool Secondary School Full-Time Role | Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start Available Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 (or sooner!) Are you a highly resilient, authoritative, and experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a significant impact on student engagement and behaviour? A supportive secondary school in Blackpool is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join their inclusion team. This is a crucial, full-time role focussed on supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour, improve student engagement, and enhance the overall learning environment. Your expertise in SEMH will enable you to provide targeted interventions, group work, and individualised support to students who require additional help. You will also contribute to the development of whole-school initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy.
