Job Vacancy: Behaviour Support Officer – Secondary School, Preston Start Date: 5th January 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Preston, Lancashire We are looking for a committed and compassionate Behaviour Support Officer to join our dedicated team in a busy secondary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives by supporting their behaviour, wellbeing, and personal development. Starting from the 5th January 2026, this permanent full-time role will be working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other support staff to provide individualised support to students with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar setting, preferably within an education environment, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, be flexible and adaptable, and have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
