Do you want to further develop yourself in the field of Mild Intellectual Disability Plus (LVB+)? Ons Tweede Thuis is looking for experienced caregivers for this target group. At Ons Tweede Thuis, you work in close-knit teams where you have control and are truly seen.

Exuding calmness and providing stability. That characterizes you. And you use it to work together on structured and clear boundaries. For clients and for yourself. Together with a team of dedicated colleagues, you, as a caregiver, ensure a positive impact on the daily lives of our clients with LVB+. You offer closeness and calm in words and touch to the clients. You make it possible as a caregiver. Furthermore, you are busy with:

• support in daily routines, such as starting the day, day activities, and/or ending the day and evening rituals;

• as a caregiver, you help them discover their limitations and their strengths;

• coordinating (medical) care when necessary, and you maintain contact with the clients' network;

• further in your work, you supervise the execution of clients' care plans and documentation.

Within the Specialized Care cluster, there are vacancies open at the following locations in Amsterdam:

• Residential and Day Center De Dijk in Amsterdam

You will work on group C, which consists of clients with a mild intellectual disability and behavioral problems.

As a caregiver for LVB+, you work 28-36 hours, depending on the vacancies at the location and your wishes. And you can count on:

• a good salary: As a caregiver, this means between €2,836 and €3,825 (scale 40 of the CAO Gehandicaptenzorg).

• extras that count: 8% holiday allowance and a fixed year-end bonus of 8.33%.

• temporary bonus: At some locations, a monthly allowance of 7.5% on top of your salary.

• own control over extra employment conditions via Alleo: You receive a vitality bonus of €250 gross per quarter (pro-rata) if you are not sick for a quarter. You can use this flexibly via Alleo, a digital platform where you choose how to spend your bonus and whether to utilize the annual tax benefit. Think of sports, groceries, or a fun outing. If you don't choose, the vitality bonus will be paid out to you at the end of the year.

• days off: 18 vacation days + more than 7 balance leave days per year (pro-rata). The latter can be taken, saved, or invested in yourself.

• pension at Zorg en Welzijn: Well arranged for later.

• own development: Training and courses to grow in your profession.

• travel expenses reimbursement: So you travel to work worry-free.

Like your colleagues, you are curious, accessible, and practical. You stand firm and are not easily discouraged. You remain calm and professional, even when emotions run high. You provide clear boundaries and structure, so clients know where they stand. As a caregiver for LVB+, you also have:

• a (completed) care education at mbo4 level (MMZ/SPW).

• you are willing to work irregular hours.

• you want to develop yourself as an expert in the field of LVB+, especially understanding the behavior of clients better.

• you are not afraid to also provide basic ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance.
