Job description
You offer intensive, tailored support to a broad target group of children, young people, and adult clients in the region. You support the client individually or in small groups, allowing you to get the most out of the support session and actively work towards goals.
You work on goals by offering suitable activities, such as playing outside, sports, cooking, baking, and creative pursuits. The activities are as much as possible focused on having fun, learning new things, discovering, and gaining positive experiences.
Through our support, clients are able to live at home longer, feel useful, and participate in society.
The issues our clients face include intellectual disabilities, behavioral problems, and ASD.
You work independently within a dynamic team where good communication with each other is important. You will have regular contact with people from the client's network. You prepare support sessions and bring structure to the day. You ensure a positive atmosphere in the workplace and within the team. You make an active contribution to the development of the organization and the team.
Who we are looking forWe are looking for support workers who are flexible in various aspects, such as working hours, but also in their approach to support. You adapt your support style to the client and their associated issues. You enjoy being active and like to motivate and engage the client by setting a good example yourself. You feel responsible for working on goals with the client and you are not afraid to take on a challenge.
You think in solutions. You can work independently and you are good at reflecting on your own actions. You also believe in important core values, such as treating each other with respect. You treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself. You stand behind our vision and promote it both on the work floor and outside the organization. You know how to translate client needs and goals from the care plan into concrete actions and the right approach. You like to follow through and you focus on a person's potential. You view the world positively. For you, the glass is always half full.
We offer 'Care without limitations' and we are proud of that. We don't think in boxes, but in solutions. We look at the wishes and needs of our clients. Lies offers intensive support to youth and adults with a disability. We bring out everything that is within them. Every day we do our utmost to make our clients happy. That is what we stand for.
Care is constantly evolving, which is why we want to remain flexible. We are a small-scale organization with an eye for the individual. Lies provides a fun and healthy workplace where we encourage you to keep developing yourself. We believe it is important that you enjoy your work. When you are happy, you are also better able to make our clients happier.
