What you will do

As a civilian employee/Instructor Learning Dock ICT, you will guide VEVA students during their practical week at the Ministry of Defence. They follow a two-year training program, where they spend three weeks at school and one week at the Learning Dock. Here they work on an overarching assignment in which they apply their ICT knowledge in practice.

At the ROC, students learn the basics of their profession. At the Learning Dock, they go a step further and learn to apply this knowledge in practice. This includes setting up networks and working with limited resources during exercises.

As an instructor, you are more than just a teacher. You are a supervisor, coach, and point of contact for the students. You help them with their subject-specific and personal development and teach them to work independently and solution-oriented.

ICT is of great importance within the Ministry of Defence. Therefore, students also learn to work under challenging conditions. As an instructor, you will guide them in this and set a good example yourself: professional, flexible, and solution-oriented.

• Experienced and mature professional who stands firm in their shoes
• At least a completed MBO-4 education in the direction of ICT
• Good ICT skills and experience with Windows Server. Knowledge of Azure, IOS, Linux, radio and communication systems, electrical engineering, and soldering is a plus.
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Ability to work with young people
