Disability Care Assistant (MBO Level 4)

Lies is looking for a driven assistant who can provide intensive support to children, adolescents, and adults with various challenges. Your role in our team

As an assistant at Lies, you will provide intensive, tailored support to a diverse group of clients. You will work both individually and in small groups, actively working towards goals through appropriate activities. Your tasks include:

• Providing support to clients with, among other things, intellectual disabilities, behavioral problems, and ASD
• Organizing activities focused on enjoyment, learning, and success experiences
• Preparing support sessions and establishing structure
• Collaborating within a dynamic team and communicating with the client's network
• Contributing to the development of the organization and the team

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a flexible and proactive assistant who:

• Has completed a relevant pedagogical education, at least MBO level 4
• Has experience with the target group in the intellectual disability care sector and/or youth care
• Is willing to work at different times, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
• Can work independently and is creative in devising activities
• Possesses a driver's license and a car
• Is flexible in their support style and can adapt to the client's needs
• Has a positive attitude and focuses on the client's potential
