About Mozaïek

Mozaïek is a beautiful and lively location in Amstelveen, where 36 people with acquired brain injury (ABI), a physical disability (PD) or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) live, work, and exist at their own pace. It offers spacious, modern apartments that residents truly experience as their home. At Mozaïek, there is an eye and a place for everyone. Life is embraced here, from Christmas to Keti Koti – every party is celebrated as it should be: together, with attention and enjoyment. You will join an enthusiastic and committed team that works together closely and where humor and a passion for care go hand in hand. Thanks to the small scale, you get to know residents and colleagues well, and you truly build something together. We work with the Rooster BLIJ project, which makes it possible to have a lot of say in your own schedule.

One team together at Ons Tweede Thuis

We are there for people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or acquired brain injury. For children, youth, adults, and seniors and their relatives. For housing, work, reintegration, day activities, advice, and help at home. We do this close to people who need care and close to the people around them. From 76 locations for 3,000 clients.

We are building a society where everyone can participate in their own way. And we start with ourselves, in the neighborhood, at the location. We believe that everyone matters. Clients, colleagues, family, volunteers, the neighborhood: together we are one team. We connect the networks around the client and proceed from what the client can and wants. In this way, we make good living and good working possible together.

You recognize yourself in this

Just like your colleagues, you are curious, approachable, and practical. You stand strong in your shoes and are not easily discouraged. You remain calm and professional, even when emotions run high. You offer clear boundaries and structure, so clients know where they stand. As a support worker with acquired brain injury, you also have:

  • a (completed) care education at mbo4 or hbo level (MMZ/VIG);

  • you are flexible and can provide structure.

  • you want to develop yourself further in the field of ABI;

  • you do not shy away from providing ADL care.

You will receive

Sincere appreciation for who you are and what you do. A place where you work with your colleagues with pleasure 24 to 32 hours per week. And where we take your professional knowledge seriously. As a support worker, based on a 36-hour work week, you will receive:

  • a gross monthly salary between € 2,836 and € 3,825 (scale 40 of the CAO Gehandicaptenzorg).

  • a one-year contract for the available hours. This can vary per location, so be sure to inquire about the possibilities.

  • irregularity allowance on top of your salary. If you work irregular hours, of course.

  • if you work with client groups with the highest care indications? Then you may be eligible for a temporary labor market allowance of no less than 7.5% on top of your gross monthly salary. We are happy to tell you whether this benefit also applies to this vacancy – a nice extra appreciation for your efforts.

  • a fixed year-end bonus of 8.33% and 8% vacation pay.

  • pension at Zorg en Welzijn.

  • 18 vacation days + over 7 balance leave days per year. You can use the latter for free time, saving, or investing in your personal development.

  • the opportunity to follow training courses and certifications.
