Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

In the role of commercial vehicle mechanic, you are responsible for the entire maintenance and repair process, including diagnosis, repair, and final inspection. Your daily activities include:

• Performing maintenance and repair work on trucks and commercial vehicles;
• Diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems;
• Repairing and replacing engine parts, transmissions, braking systems, axles, and suspensions;
• Inspecting vehicles and preparing them for APK (Dutch MOT) inspections;
• Performing preventive maintenance and identifying wear or damage.

We are looking for someone with experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles or extensive experience with tinkering, and you also bring the following:

• Experience with vehicle maintenance, for example as a mechanic, hobby mechanic, or from a technical education;
• Interest in further developing yourself within commercial vehicle technology;
• Team spirit and good communication skills;
• Some experience or interest in working with diagnostic systems and electrical components;
• Skill in replacing and adjusting parts such as filters, brake pads, tires, and lighting.
