What will you do?

Together with the Branch Manager and other Business Managers, you will ensure good turnover, satisfied and healthy colleagues, and a good atmosphere.

That's where you stand, with sleeves rolled up. As our brand-new Sales Business Manager in . 12,000 to 22,000 square meters of space with more than 120,000 items around you. And more importantly: 40-50 colleagues whom you will lead and develop, and a multitude of passionate customers whom you and your team will make happy. You'll handle it.

Your tasks as Sales Business Manager:

• Together with the Branch Manager and other Business Managers, you ensure that the branch's objectives are met.
• You lead a Sales Team of 40-50 colleagues. You coach, guide, and train colleagues.
• You are present on the shop floor, exhibit a proactive customer approach, and motivate your colleagues to do the same.
• You check if products are attractively displayed on the shelves and if the stock is correct.
• You ensure a safe and pleasant working environment for all colleagues in your team.
• At the same time, you pick up on new customer needs for the execution of their projects. You understand how we can smartly respond to these at HORNBACH.

What do you bring?

• You think like a higher professional education (HBO) graduate. Or you bring a wealth of retail experience.
• Have you worked in a DIY store? Even better!
• You have at least 3 years of management experience leading a team of 25 or more colleagues. You also have experience in coaching and developing employees.
• You are the type to roll up your sleeves. Someone who leads by example. And motivates by bringing out the best in others.
• You want to work 38 hours a week within our opening hours.
• Do you speak German? That's a bonus!

How will I be onboarded and guided in the initial period?

You will be thoroughly onboarded. No quick handover, but a clear start in which you will learn how we work at HORNBACH, on the floor and behind the scenes. During your onboarding period, you will have time to get to know the branch, colleagues, and our working methods well. You will be guided by experienced colleagues and (depending on your role) your supervisor.

For Team Leaders and Business Managers: you will quickly start with the HORNBACH leadership program called 'Bricks'. This is a training program in which you will receive tools to be successful in your role, even if you already have experience as a leader.

Assessment

Do we see you working at HORNBACH? Then we will also conduct a personal test to get to know you a bit better before you sign your new contract.

Screening (VOG)

For some specialist roles, you will need a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), for example, for Project Coordinator. We will then send you a link with which you can apply for your VOG from Justis. Of course, we will pay the costs.

Offer
