Job description

Since 1993, we have been creating the technical conditions every day to ensure that patients receive the best possible care – in one of Europe's largest hospitals, the University Hospital AKH Vienna. With over 1,400 employees from 36 different trades, we ensure smooth operation, manage over 50,000 medical technology devices, and keep a highly complex hospital infrastructure running – 24/7, 365 days a year.


  • Independent management and coordination of maintenance, renovation, and conversion projects in ongoing hospital operations
  • Technical and organizational support for troubleshooting in sensitive operating areas
  • Coordination with medical users, institutes, clinics, and technical departments
  • Ensuring project execution in terms of deadlines, quality, and costs
  • Preparation of cost estimates, budget planning, and economic feasibility studies
  • Conducting site meetings and coordinating internal and external project participants
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational requirements in the hospital environment
    Ongoing documentation, reporting, and project follow-up

  • Completed technical training (HTL civil engineering/structural engineering, master craftsman in construction, or comparable training)
  • Several years of professional experience in managing construction, maintenance, or renovation projects
  • Experience in managing multiple parallel measures and projects
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as confident demeanor
  • High customer and service orientation in dealing with sensitive users and operating areas
  • Experience in cost planning, budget responsibility, bid review, and invoice control
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (Austrian Standards, Building Regulations, Employee Protection, Fire Protection)
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and self-reliant working method
  • High resilience and ability to prioritize correctly, even under time pressure

The monthly salary is at least € 3,893.09 (14 times per year) based on the defined requirements. Your individual compensation package will be tailored to your qualifications and experience. Together with you, we will establish a customized agreement in personal interviews.
