The district town of Siegburg (approx. 42,000 inhabitants) is located in a central location between the metropoles of the Rhine Valley (Cologne and Bonn) and the recreational areas of the Siebengebirge and the Bergisches Land. Siegburg is building: New construction and renovation projects, such as school and kindergarten extensions, require qualified management, steering, and project leadership.

To fulfill the building owner's tasks and realize the projects

Project leaders (m/w/d)

unlimited and full-time (39 weekly hours).

Aufgaben

Your key responsibilities:

• Exercising the building owner's function for the city of Siegburg vis-à-vis engineering firms and construction companies.

• Responsibility for budget compliance and legally secure project execution.

• Project organization (documentation, scheduling, resource planning, accounting).

• Supporting department leadership in project management and committee work (participation), including:

• Detailed planning of projects, possibly in cooperation with the project steering committee in all performance phases of the HOAI.

• Initiating and preparing necessary committee decisions for project development.

• Carrying out legally secure tenders for services according to HOAI, AHO, VOB, etc. (mainly in cooperation with the Central Procurement Office).

• Preliminary and final preparation of construction contracts.

• Project documentation, including conducting inspections.

• Cost calculation
  and its continuation and control according to DIN 276 over all cost groups, checking advance payment and final invoices.

• Communication between users, companies/contractors, sub-contractors, etc.

• Superintendence and quality control on the construction site.

Qualifikation

We expect:

• a successfully completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)/Bachelor or Dipl.-Ing./Master) in architecture, civil engineering, or a similar technical-engineering field.
• several years of professional experience and practical knowledge in the public construction sector.
• in-depth knowledge of the requirements and fundamentals of public building, tendering, and contract law, as well as HOAI, technical regulations, and administrative law.
• the ability to lead complex and demanding projects in all project phases with a large number of participants with different professional focal points.
• the ability to provide guidance to project participants and engage in collegiate interdisciplinary cooperation.
• a high level of negotiation and organizational skills.
• sociable, friendly, and communicative behavior, a confident and sovereign demeanor, and an impressive expression and communication ability.
• a high degree of social competence and sense of responsibility, engagement, initiative, flexibility, resilience, team spirit, and user orientation.
