Job description
Construction Manager for technical auditing in civil engineering.
No more revenue pressure and less deadline pressure.
Take on responsibility.
Make an impact.
The Job and Your Perspective.
Large-volume infrastructure projects shape regions, mobility, and the future. Your quality, economic efficiency, and sustainability determine long-term success. This position focuses precisely on this.
In this exciting staff function, technical auditing is located directly with the board of directors and works closely with internal audit. Audits of national and international construction projects provide essential decision-making basis for management and make a central contribution to corporate steering and sustainable compliance.
An environment with substance awaits you: exceptional construction projects, high professional appreciation, modern digital structures, and a company that thinks long-term – economically and ecologically.
- Independent auditing and review of complex construction projects in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or earthworks on-site
- Analysis of risks and opportunities directly on the construction sites
- Derivation of optimization and improvement measures within the scope of project-related audits and due diligence audits
- Preparation of well-founded audit reports with the support of the back-office team
- Further development and optimization of auditing processes
- Close collaboration in a buddy system with commercial auditors
We are looking for Construction Managers or Project Managers with sound experience in the implementation of large-volume construction projects in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or earthworks – typically in a management role for projects in the double-digit million euro range.
This role is aimed at individuals who wish to contribute their operational experience from an overarching perspective in the future, enjoy analytical work, like site visits and travel activities, and appreciate independent work. Solution-oriented doers with high social competence who can clearly analyze and constructively develop complex issues are particularly sought after.
- A position with a tangible impact and high responsibility
- Application of one's own construction technology expertise at corporate and project level
- Significantly less deadline and revenue pressure than in operational construction management
- Ongoing professional and personal development in the infrastructure and construction environment
- Collaboration with a highly qualified, interdisciplinary audit team
- Own back office for audit reports and travel management
- Secure job in a company aiming for climate neutrality by 2040
Remuneration: Annual gross fixed income from EUR 90,000 p.a.; depending on qualifications and experience, market-rate overpayment and a company car are foreseen.
